Meridian Lossless Packing (MLP) is a unique lossless audio compression system with bit-for-bit accuracy and a key component of the Blu-ray Disc specification as Dolby TrueHD. MLP allows more content on a disc and greater data throughput with no quality loss. The Encoder allows the authoring of stereo and multichannel MLP content for DVD-Audio. Dolby TrueHD products can be obtained from Dolby Laboratories.
