C51 Active Speaker Power Unit

Like the G41, the C51 is designed to power Meridian installation loudspeakers such as the 300 Series in Remote Active mode. Here, the crossovers are in the amplifier, in the form of plug-in cards (supplied with the speakers) operating at line level for significantly superior performance and efficiency.

The C51 features balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (phono) inputs. Ten channels of cool-running high quality Class D amplification deliver approximately 100W/8Ω (160W/4Ω) RMS per channel. They are grouped into five pairs, each providing woofer and tweeter outputs from a full-range input.
